Bmarkweb Ltd is a small English company active in a variety of design disciplines. We are also registered to do business in the United States and carry out much of our work in that country. Here is a brief overview of our principal activities:
Website design and programming
We have designed and programmed more than fifty commercial websites, covering a great many subjects and ranging in size and complexity from, for example, a relatively small personal site to a large regional hospital site. We will undertake most aspects of the process of designing and creating a website –
  • Photography and image creation
  • Graphics
  • Writing and/or organizing the copy
  • Site design, layout and navigation
  • Coding and programming
  • Domain registration and site hosting
  • Search engine optimization and submission
Our sites are clean, clearly laid out and easy to navigate; we take care to comply with World Wide Web Council standards, and make our sites compatible with most browsers and computer platforms. Many of our sites have coding to enable the site owner to themselves update sections of the site without any specialized website knowledge.

Graphic design
Whether it’s a poster, a brochure, a book or a CD, we have the design and technical capacity to plan and produce the finished article. Our work includes photography, artwork, copy, layout and arranging printing (or pressing in the case of a CD). Currently we have our own art poster Doors of Woodbridge for sale and we are planning several others, covering subjects in Maine USA and Suffolk, England.

Interior design
We have substantial practical experience of planning and carrying out quite complex remodeling projects. Our work includes the preparation of initial study plans, drawing up all the necessary working drawings, obtaining costings and engaging the necessary skilled craftspeople to carry out the work. We draw up color schemes, assist in the choice of fabrics, furnishings, appliances, hardware and furniture. We supervise the remodeling work at all stages. Two recent remodeling projects in the United States:

Park Street, Camden, Maine. This was a small house of considerable age but sadly situated. We had it moved 135', swung it through 90° and rotated it 180° on to a new basement foundation; all within a tiny and awkward lot. We designed a two-storey addition and had it built and incorporated into the original house, resulting in a really nice three bathroom, three bedroom home of considerable charm and good for the next century or so!

4 Bay View Square, Rockland, Maine. This lovely 1860’s sea captain’s house had fallen upon hard times. Converted to a duplex about 40 years ago, it had suffered gradual degradation as a rental property. We remodeled the ground floor into a six room, two bedroom, two bath luxury vacation accommodation. Now we are in the process of remodeling the second floor into a similar vacation rental, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, living room, kitchen and dining room.

Designed for amateur or professional constructions, the designs range in size from 8' through to 67' and come complete with detailed and comprehesive building instructions. All the popular designs are available as direct internet downloads, on CD, or as traditional paper plans.
